After many months of deliberation, discussions, and careful evaluation, we’ve decided it’s time to move on from our home at Memorial Hall. It’s been more than 20 years since the Town of Mosman Park earmarked the then derelict building for demolition, and a group of dedicated and passionate locals created the Mosman Park Arts Foundation and threw themselves into the task of carefully restoring, improving and maintaining Memorial Hall – transforming it into a thriving community hub that has been enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. You are invited to attend Boorloo’s first art exhibition and auction dedicated to abolishing mental health shame and stigma. ‘error 404 - (shame not found)’ - is an evocative series of visual and performing arts events challenging and shedding the shame society enacts on us due to our mental illness and associated symptoms. 8.6 Australians die every day by suicide. Shame harms. Shame can kill. We wish to abolish the shame associated with mental illness by reclaiming our stories through the art we make and sharing it with you.
