To celebrate the XXII Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Italian Theatre of WA (ITWA) is staging in October "Beato fra le donne” (Blessed among women).
This two act comedy highlights the life of Riccardo, a quiet man who lives with an authoritarian wife who dominates him and treats him like a rag; a bizarre mother-in-law who brings home her boyfriends whom she strangely wins over; an unmarried and sour spinster sister who constantly quarrels with her sister-in-law and mistreats her brother; and four daughters who consider him a nullity and only pay attention to him when they need something…
but there is a limit to everything, and the presence of a somewhat particular goldfish will encourage the good Riccardo to restore order in the family.
